We are pleased to announce that our project CLayer has successfully passed the Final Evaluations at WORTH Partnership Projects. We are developing the project in cooperation with Miha Turšič, WASP, Noumena Design Research Education and Urban Magušar.
What is CLayer?
People in a contemporary industrialised society live their lives more or less completely alienated from their natural environments. In a manner to establish a more qualitative relation between everyday life and the surrounding environment, we aim to design an “air filtering facade membrane” made of local clays, with clay 3D printing technology and supported by algorithmic structural design.
The final product will be revealed at the end of 2019.
